We highly recommend backing your sampler with another piece of fabric before you start your embroidery. This will make for all around better tension. Cotton or Linen works best, and we've got a nice selection for you to choose from. We are partial to a little color or pattern in the back, just like in the front!
Please note- there's no need to sew the backing fabric to your sampler. The hoop will keep everything in place and the embroidery will eventually secure the two fabrics.
