WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH THE SAMPLERS?

Samplers come preprinted on quilting cotton and ready to stitch. Included are basic instructions. You provide your own thread and needles.

PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.

WHAT SIZE IS IT?

Samplers vary in size. Individual sampler sizes are noted on their respective product pages.

WHAT THREAD SHOULD I USE?

We use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.

HOW SHOULD I BACK MY SAMPLER?

For best results, I recommend backing your sampler fabric with a second piece of non stretchy fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way.

WHAT SIZE HOOP SHOULD I USE?

I like a size 6—but use whatever hoop you have on hand.
