Finally, a sampler John Denver can sing about! Introducing.... Tea and Tomatoes!
This design features a teapot and a humble tomato pincushion. When finished, it stitches up into a needlebook for future projects. Printed fabric measures approximately 12" x 10" To finish the needlebook you'll need a piece of felted wool. We offer two different colors of striped Pendleton wool to choose from. Pick your favorite in the dropdown menu, or opt for the plain sampler if you've already got your own.

The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.

This Sampler measures approximately 10" x 12".
What thread should I use?
We use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.

How should I back my sampler?
For best results, I recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way. Check out my how-to for this step on Creativebug or IGTV (@dropcloth)
What size hoops should I use?
I like a size 6—but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
