Florals! To your mailbox! Once a month! The subscription includes never-before-released hand-drawn and hand-painted embroidery patterns made by Rebecca Ringquist in her Portland, Oregon studio.
Each floral sampler is 4 inches across.
Joining the club means you'll be the first to see these hot-of-the-press designs. During the month of their release, they are EXCLUSIVE to subscribers.
Towards the end of each month I'll host an Instagram Live showing the colors and stitches I'm planning on using for my version, and you can hop on and show your progress in the current and past months as well. It's a subscription, and it's a COMMUNITY. I can't wait for you to be a part of it.
*SHIPPING: The cost of shipping is included. I ship samplers on or around the 15th of each month. Sign up by the 5th of the month to receive that month's sampler in the mail. We generally ship on or around the 15th of each month.
Welcome to the club! I can't wait to see your stitches. #dropclothsamplers
**PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing this as a GIFT, please make sure you use the recipient's address. If you'd like me to include a card with a message, just let me know.
The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
What size is it?
This Sampler measures approximately 5" x 5".
What thread should I use?
We use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.
Where can I find more embroidery help?
I'm so glad you asked! Check out my online workshops on Creativebug.
Where can I see other examples of the finished sampler?
Instagram! Check out the hashtag #dropclothsamplers for tons of beautiful examples of all our designs, stitched by people like you. I hope you'll add yours to the mix!
How should I back my sampler?
For best results, I recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way. Check out my how-to for this step on Creativebug or IGTV (@dropcloth)
What size hoops should I use?
I like a size 6—but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
Dropcloth Samplers proudly ships in up-cycled packaging. Your order may arrive in a reused Prime envelope—but we are NOT associated with Amazon.
